Visiting Artist

As a visiting artist I can inspire curiosity, creativity, hands-on screen-free learning, awareness and pride in the students I work with.

My process:

I meet with students and provide examples of my work. This sparks discussion about creative process and trash in our environment. 

A community clean up or donation of unwanted materials often kicks off the new project. Students and community members can gather unused and discarded objects.

Students have time with me inventing and assembling their own small sculptures. 

We use the collected art supplies to create an art piece to display at the school or other public space.
